Power4Change volunteers in the Philippines
About Us

We're here to
spark change.

Four women, and a belief that where you're born shouldn't determine your access to safety, opportunity or dignity.

Power4Change on the ground
Why We Exist

We don't have to change the whole world to change someone's world.

Power4Change is an Australian registered charity built on a simple belief: a problem doesn't have to be solved for everyone before it's worth solving for someone.

We focus on practical, direct action for women, children and communities facing some of the world's greatest barriers to safety, healthcare and opportunity.

We're small — deliberately. No paid staff. No offices. No salaries. Our volunteers fund their own way, allowing the money entrusted to us to go directly to the projects and communities it was raised for.

Our work is shaped by what people actually need — whether that's power, clean water, medical equipment, food, disaster relief or something entirely different.

We started in 2025 with 50 solar systems for families in the remote mountains of the Philippines. Fifty families didn't change the world. But for those fifty families, it changed theirs.

And that's the point.

Our Team

Meet the directors

Sarah Ogilvie
Sarah Ogilvie Founder & Director

Sarah is a qualified electrician, adventurer and the founder of Power4Change. She started working at just seven years old and, by nine, was volunteering and organising her own fundraisers. Always drawn to pushing her own limits, she's increasingly found ways to turn those challenges into something bigger than herself.

In 2025, while still an electrical apprentice, Sarah used her own savings to fund Power4Change's first project, bringing solar power to families living without electricity in the remote mountains of the Philippines.

At the core of everything she does is a simple belief: you don't have to change the whole world to change someone's world. She refuses to accept that helping a few isn't worthwhile simply because you can't help everyone — if you have the ability to make someone's life better, that's reason enough to act.

She's a firm believer in turning ideas into action — quickly, imperfectly if necessary, but always with the determination to actually do something.

Because meaningful change doesn't have to start big. It just has to start.

Dr Jasmine Eldemire
Dr Jasmine Eldemire Director

Jasmine is a chiropractor, holistic health advocate and founding member of Power4Change. Warm, grounded and deeply people-focused, she has built her career around helping people feel and live better — bringing that same care and thoughtful perspective to everything she does with Power4Change.

Her belief in giving back extends beyond the charity and into her own practice, Abode Chiropractic in Cairns, which has partnered with Power4Change and regularly donated a portion of its proceeds to support our projects.

Jasmine believes meaningful change starts with understanding people, meeting them where they are and finding practical ways to make life better — a philosophy that runs through both her work in healthcare and her contribution to Power4Change.

From the very beginning, she's brought a steady voice, a generous heart and a genuine belief in what we're building.

Nicola Wilkinson
Nicola Wilkinson Director

Nicola is a registered nurse, nature lover and the bright spark of the Power4Change team. Bubbly, fiercely caring and somehow always the one who remembers every detail, she brings energy, compassion and a sharp eye to everything we do.

Her career in healthcare, alongside time spent volunteering in schools in Africa, has given Nicola a firsthand understanding of how differently access to basic care and opportunity can look depending on where in the world you're born.

With a love of travel, mountains and the outdoors, Nicola is happiest getting amongst it — whether she's caring for patients, volunteering abroad or throwing herself into the next Power4Change project.

She brings the kind of energy that lifts everyone around her, backed by a genuine determination to leave things a little better than she found them.

Tanikah Blieschke
Tanikah Blieschke Director

Tanikah is a devoted mother, creative mind and the quiet powerhouse of Power4Change. She's the person you want in your corner — thoughtful, fiercely loyal and always ready to listen without judgment or show up when it matters.

Motherhood has shaped much of the way Tanikah sees the world. She believes every child deserves the chance to grow up feeling safe, supported and cared for — regardless of the circumstances or place they were born into.

That belief, strengthened by her own life experiences, is what she brings to Power4Change: a deeply human perspective and a constant reminder to look beyond statistics and see the individual people and families behind them.

For Tanikah, every child is someone's whole world — and every one of them is worth showing up for.

Local Partners — Philippines

Bruno & Jaymar

Bruno and Jaymar, Power4Change's local partners in the Philippines

Behind both of our projects in the Philippines have been Bruno and Jaymar — two incredible people whose knowledge, connections and genuine love for their communities have been invaluable to Power4Change.

From our very first project, they've worked alongside us on the ground — connecting us with local communities, navigating logistics and helping ensure our support reaches the people who need it most.

They've become far more than local contacts — they're trusted friends, valued partners and an important part of the Power4Change family.
